Lab Onboarding Instructions

Complete these simple steps to ensure your laboratory appears correctly when people search for Healthier Blood laboratories near them.

These updates are simple, do not affect your medical services, and help increase public awareness of blood health through the Healthier Blood initiative.

Update Your Business Description

Please add the following sentence verbatim to your Google Business Profile description:

We are a participating laboratory in the Healthier Blood™ initiative, offering a preventive blood health package designed to help individuals understand their blood health before symptoms appear.

This allows Google Maps to associate your lab with Healthier Blood searches.

Add Healthier Blood as a Service

In the Services section of your Google Business Profile, add a new service with the following wording:

Healthier Blood – Preventive Blood Health Check
A focused preventive blood health package that helps individuals understand how well their blood is supporting their body. Results are presented using a simple Blood Health Score for clarity and awareness.

Add a Google PostRecommended

Create a Google Post to increase visibility (optional but strongly recommended).

Healthier Blood™ Now Available
We are proud to participate in the Healthier Blood™ initiative, a preventive blood health program that helps individuals understand their blood health early through a focused blood test and a simple score.

Add Visual IdentificationOptional

If available, upload the Healthier Blood™ logo as:

  • A post image
  • An additional photo in your profile

This improves recognition during Google Maps searches.

Do Not ChangeImportant

Please do not:

  • Alter your laboratory name
  • Add diagnostic or medical claims
  • Use terms such as "diagnosis," "treatment," or "disease prevention"
  • Modify your accreditation or licensing information

Healthier Blood is a preventive awareness initiative, not a diagnostic service.

Once completed:

  • Save your changes
  • Allow up to 48–72 hours for Google Maps indexing
